Here's a sneak peek of what we got up to behind the scenes on our ‘Midnight Blooms’ campaign photoshoot inspired by still life paintings, dark academia and the renaissance era.
Photographed in the heart of Manchester on 14th July, in a converted mill, our latest floral dresses were styled against a dark and moody backdrop.
Our model Karolina posed against a textured backdrop, surrounded by candles and candelabra, vintage vases, old books and dried flowers. Karolina’s make-up was dark around the eyes giving a grungy, gothic feel to contrast against the floral designs of the dresses.
The collection was photographed by our in-house photographer Liv. She chose to shoot the dresses in natural light to reflect the classic still life style, which began in the 1600’s. The floral embellishments on our dresses caught the natural light perfectly and gave an authentic, artistic, moody look and feel.
